三爻：无平不陂，无往不复，艰贞无咎。勿恤其孚，于食有福。 No plain without a slope, no going without return. Persevere through hardship — do not fear; blessings come with sustenance.
四爻：翩翩不富，以其邻，不戒以孚。 Light and unburdened; neighbors share without caution. Trust without reservation.
五爻：帝乙归妹，以祉元吉。 King Yi marries off his sister — blessings follow. Humility from the high brings supreme fortune.
上爻：城复于隍，勿用师，自邑告命，贞吝。 The city wall collapses into the moat — do not deploy troops. Declare within your own town; stubbornness brings regret.
