初爻：悔亡。丧马勿逐，自复。见恶人无咎。 Regret vanishes. Lost horse — do not pursue; it returns on its own. Meeting disagreeable people — avoid conflict. Minor discord resolves itself.
二爻：遇主于巷，无咎。 Meeting the master in the lane — no harm. Encountering the right person in an unexpected place.
三爻：见舆曳，其牛掣，其人天且劓，无初有终。 The carriage is held back, the ox restrained, the man branded and noseless — bad start, good ending. Adversity brings eventual reversal.
四爻：睽孤，遇元夫，交孚厉无咎。 Isolated — meeting a true man; mutual trust brings danger but no harm. Finding genuine help in isolation.
五爻：悔亡。厥宗噬肤，往何咎。 Regret vanishes. The clansman bites through skin — going brings what harm? Let go of prejudice and re-engage.
上爻：睽孤，见豕负涂，载鬼一车，先张之弧，后说之弧。匪寇婚媾，往遇雨则吉。 In isolation — a pig covered in mud, a carriage of ghosts. First drawing the bow, then lowering it. Not bandits but suitors. Going in rain brings good fortune. Dissolve suspicion; see the truth.
