효별 해설

초효：官有渝，贞吉，出门交有功。
Officials change — staying upright brings good fortune. Go out and engage; accomplishments follow.

이효：系小子，失丈夫。
Holding the child, losing the man. Grasping the small while losing the great.

삼효：系丈夫，失小子。随有求得，利居贞。
Holding the man, losing the child. Following has trade-offs.

사효：随有获，贞凶。有孚在道，以明何咎。
Following brings gains, yet staying upright carries risk. With sincerity on the path and clear judgment — what harm?

오효：孚于嘉，吉。
Sincerity toward the good — auspicious. Follow what is beautiful and right.

상효：拘系之，乃从维之，王用亨于西山。
Held fast, then released. The king sacrifices on West Mountain. From bondage to liberation — be grateful.
