손(損) — 산 위에 연못. 산이 높고 연못이 낮아, 아래를 덜어 위를 보탠다. 때로는 줄이는 것이 좋은 일이다. 적음이 곧 많음이다.
효별 해설
초효：已事遄往，无咎。酌损之。 Having finished, go quickly — no harm. Decrease appropriately; distinguish priorities.
이효：利贞，征凶。弗损益之。 Favorable to stay upright — campaigning is dangerous. Increase without decrease. Know when to hold still.
삼효：三人行则损一人，一人行则得其友。 Three traveling lose one; one walking gains a friend. Decrease sometimes enables better integration.
사효：损其疾，使遄有喜，无咎。 Reducing illness — quickly brings joy; no harm. Remove the ailment and improvement follows swiftly.
오효：损其疾，使遄有喜，无咎。 Someone offers a tortoise worth ten strings — cannot refuse; supremely auspicious. After decrease comes great gain.
상효：弗损益之，无咎，贞吉。利有攸往，得臣无家。 Do not decrease but increase — no harm; upright brings good fortune. Favorable to proceed; gain servants but not a household. Some things must be increased, not reduced.
