중부(中孚) — 바람 위에 연못. 바람이 연못 위를 지나 닿지 않는 곳이 없다. 성실함은 최고의 통행증. 내면에 성실함이 있으면 작은 일도 큰일을 이룰 수 있다.

효별 해설

초효：虞吉，有它不燕。
Peaceful heart brings good fortune — other thoughts bring unrest. Truth requires single-minded focus.

이효：鸣鹤在阴，其子和之。我有好爵，吾与尔靡之。
A crane calls from the shade — its young answer. I have fine wine; let us share. The resonance of truth.

삼효：得敌，或鼓或罢，或泣或歌。
Meeting an opponent — drumming to attack or ceasing to rest; weeping or singing. Truth encounters turbulence.

사효：月几望，马匹亡，无咎。
The moon nears full — a horse is lost, but no harm. Small losses do not affect the greater truth.

오효：有孚挛如，无咎。
Sincerity binds closely — no harm. Truth unites everyone.

상효：翰音登于天，贞凶。
The bird's cry ascends to Heaven — even uprightness brings danger. Truth taken too far; reputation exceeds reality.
