비(比) — 물 위에 땅. 물이 대지에 의지하듯, 사람은 서로 가까이하고 의지해야 한다. 단결이 힘을 만든다.

효별 해설

초효：有孚比之，无咎。有孚盈缶，终来有它，吉。
Approach with sincerity — no harm. Trust like a full vessel brings unexpected good fortune. Be genuine.

이효：比之自内，贞吉。
Uniting from within — staying upright brings good fortune. Unity from the heart, not mere appearance.

삼효：比之匪人。
Befriending the wrong people — choosing the wrong associates.

사효：外比之，贞吉。
Uniting outward — staying upright brings good fortune. Seek allies and cooperation.

오효：显比，王用三驱，失前禽。邑人不诫，吉。
Openly uniting. The ruler hunts with a three-sided net, letting some escape — generosity attracts willing followers.

상효：比之无首，凶。
Uniting without a leader — danger. Unity needs a center and direction; without a head, chaos ensues.
