The Receptive — Hexagram Detail — I Ching 64 Fortune Telling
坤宫Element土#2
Kun (The Receptive) — pure Yin, six broken lines. Symbolizes the receptive devotion of Earth: flexibility, nurturing, and carrying all things. The superior person supports others with generous virtue.
Line-by-Line
Treading on frost — solid ice will soon come. See the whole from a small sign. Observe carefully at the start.
Straight, square, and great — even without deliberate learning, nothing is unfavorable. Keep virtue pure and follow nature.
Conceal your talents and stay upright. Assist the leader without claiming credit; do solid work from the middle.
Tie up the sack — no harm, no praise. Guard your words, hide your brilliance, and avoid controversy.
Wearing a yellow lower garment — supremely auspicious. Yellow is central, the skirt humble; greatness through modesty.
Dragons clash in the wild — blue-yellow blood flows. Yin peaks, Yang rises; extremes reverse, fierce conflict is imminent.
