Da Chu (Great Taming) — Mountain above Heaven below. Mountain conceals heavenly light, storing power for release. The time for accumulating strength has come; build deep reserves before bursting forth.

Line 1:有厉,利已。 Danger — favorable to halt. Stop in the face of risk.
Line 2:舆说辐。 The carriage axle comes off. The vehicle of progress needs repair.
Line 3:良马逐,利艰贞。曰闲舆卫,利有攸往。 Fine horses pursue — favorable to persevere through hardship. Train daily; prepare and wait for the right moment.
Line 4:童牛之牿,元吉。 A crossbar on the young bull's horns — supremely auspicious. Prevent problems before they arise.
Line 5:豮豕之牙,吉。 A gelded boar's tusks — auspicious. Remove the dangerous edge but keep the strength.
