사(師) — 땅 위에 물. 땅 속에 숨은 물이 은밀히 흐른다. 군대는 규율과 정의가 필요하다.
효별 해설
초효：师出以律，否臧凶。
The army marches with discipline — without it, danger. Do things with order and principles.
이효：在师中，吉无咎，王三锡命。
In the midst of the army — good fortune, no harm. The ruler bestows orders three times. Trusted and entrusted.
삼효：师或舆尸，凶。
The army may carry corpses — danger. Internal problems and serious losses.
사효：师左次，无咎。
The army camps on the left — no harm. Retreat and wait; avoid direct confrontation.
오효：田有禽，利执言，无咎。长子帅师，弟子舆尸，贞凶。
Game in the fields — favorable to hunt. The elder leads the army; the younger carries corpses — choose the right people.
상효：大君有命，开国承家，小人勿用。
The ruler issues decrees — founding states and households. Small people must not be entrusted. After success, choose wisely.
