Cui (Gathering) — Lake above Earth below. Lake water gathers on the earth. People gathering can accomplish great things, but gathering needs organization and leadership.

Line 1：有孚不终，乃乱乃萃。若号，一握为笑。勿恤，往无咎。 Sincerity not sustained — chaos then reunion. A roomful laughing and shouting — do not worry; going brings no harm. After disorder comes regrouping.
Line 2：引吉，无咎。孚乃利用禴。 Being led brings good fortune — no harm. Sincerity favors ritual offerings. Gathered by external forces.
Line 3：萃如嗟如，无攸利。往无咎，小吝。 Gathering with sighs — no benefit. Going brings no harm but small regrets. The situation is poor but passable.
Line 4：大吉，无咎。 Supremely auspicious — no harm. Great gathering; excellent.
Line 5：萃有位，无咎。匪孚，元永贞，悔亡。 Gathering where position is held — no harm. Without sincerity but with eternal uprightness from the start, regret vanishes. Find your place and persist.
Line 6：赍咨涕洟，无咎。 Seeking gathering with gifts — unstable. Using wealth to seek favor is precarious.
